TPC welcome 2 new Sports Masseurs.
At Low Fell – we welcome Rob De’Giovanni and at Sunderland Julie Jeffrey.
Rob – Rob is a physiotherapist, but joining the team as a Sports Massage Therapist. With a strong athletic background in long distance running and road cycling, Rob has a passion for competitive sport and with his experience working as a chartered Physiotherapist he understands the importance of a balanced approach to training, rehab and recovery.
Rob is also a certified kettlebell instructor and level 3 personal trainer. This allows Rob to offer a functional approach to training and reconditioning, allowing for more efficient movement and recovery. He is able to tailor his massage therapy sessions to your recovery needs based on your current activities and training load.
Julie qualified with a Diploma in Sports Massage in April 2016, trained by Penny at The Performance Clinic. A keen gym member and runner, Julie has completed many races, from 5k – marathon distance, and also competes in regional cross country events.
Prior to qualifying as a massage therapist Julie spent many years working with children and young people, as well as teaching adults in a range subjects including Health and Nutrition. Julie Jeffrey BSc hons, Dip App SS (Open), PGCE (PCET) is available at the Sunderland Clinic on a Monday night
